  • Generate the chapter list and supporting sections.
  • Rename, reorder, add, or delete outline nodes until the structure matches your plan.

Writing

What to do

Write more than one pass: draft with AI, then rewrite in your own voice.

  • Pick an AI persona that fits your goals for this section.
  • Generate a first draft from your outline bullet.
  • Rewrite unclear sentences, add examples, and tighten transitions.

Export

What to do

Finish with an export step so the work feels usable.

  • Choose PDF and confirm page size and margins.
  • Start the export and open the resulting file.
  • Check heading hierarchy, page breaks, and image placement.

Quick start checklist

Use this checklist to track your first session. You do not need a perfect chapter to export; aim for a clean draft.

Install and open WriterStudioAIVerify the app opens and your trial is active.
Create a project from a templateEnter title, subtitle, and topic description.
Generate an outlineCreate at least one chapter with supporting sections.
Write one chapter draftAim for a finished draft, then revise twice.
Add or adjust a cover imageUse one relevant image if possible.
Export to PDFReview formatting before sharing.

Overcoming writer's block

New users often stall on the writing step. These three tactics usually help in the first session.

1. Start with an outline bullet

Write one bullet for what that section must teach the reader. If you cannot summarize it in one sentence, split the section before you write.

2. Write a bad first draft

Your first draft is not your final draft. Let the AI propose sentences, then rewrite them until they sound like you.

3. Switch personas

If the output feels too corporate or too casual, switch to another persona and try again. The best writers revise more than they draft.
